Prada Group joins Sustainable Markets initiative’s Fashion Task Force

The Fashion Task Force, established in 2021, is dedicated to spearheading action-oriented initiatives aimed at accelerating the transition towards a more sustainable future for fashion. As a member, Prada Group will play a role in driving change and accelerating progress across existing focus areas.“We are honored to be part of this coalition and to contribute by sharing our experience in the field of traceability. Building on everyone’s valuable expertise and trying to achieve common goals in sustainability, is a productive way to face today’s complexity and to constantly improve,” said Lorenzo Bertelli, Prada Group head of corporate social responsibility. 

Over the years, the Task Force has undertaken various projects, including the launch of the Digital Product Passport at the G20 summit in Rome and initiatives focused on regenerative agriculture in regions such as the Himalayas and Apulia, Italy.Marchetti added, “We are thrilled to welcome Prada Group and Lorenzo Bertelli to our action-oriented Fashion Task Force. Lorenzo and I share the same passion for customer centricity and innovation, and Prada is an excellent fit with a cohesive group of leading brands who are striving for one shared purpose: fashion in harmony with Nature”.As part of the Fashion Task Force, Prada Group joins leaders from high fashion brands, platforms, and retailers including the Aura Blockchain Consortium, Brunello Cucinelli, Burberry, Chloé, Gabriela Hearst, Giorgio Armani, Puig, Moda Operandi and Zalando.
